Instructions:
For Film Strip Fashion Boot: Cut 2 pieces of 18X34 threads (17X33 holes) in 10 count plastic canvas for front and back. Following the patterns, stitch both pieces (remember though the patterns look the same, they are reversed). Whipstitch the shoes together with DMC #310 Pearl Cotton. Once stitching is complete, using the Ribbon (I used #90466-255 scrapbook ribbon) starting at the top, wrap the ribbon around the boot, as indicated by the red line on the pattern, so both the front and the back look the same. Add a little glue to keep both the front piece and back piece secure. Attach a keychain ring or Christmas tree hook at the top of the boot.
For Back to the 70's Platform: Cut 2 pieces of 29X19 threads (28X18 holes) in 10 count plastic canvas for front and back. Following the patterns stitch both pieces. Using DMC #310, stitch the buckle onto both pieces with a Straight Stitch, as indicated on the pattern. Whipstitch the pieces together in adjoining coloring. Attach a keychain ring or Christmas tree hook at the top of the shoe.
For Polka Dotted Rainboot: Cut 2 pieces of 18X23 threads (17X22 holes) in 10 count plastic canvas for front and back. Following the patterns stitch both pieces with DMC #310, and then do the French Knots. I would suggest doing each color entirely before going onto the next color. Once completed, whipstitch both pieces together with DMC #310. Attach a keychain ring or Christmas tree hook at the top of the boot.
